THE COVID-19 STUDENT LIFE

I am a 21 year old female living the COVID STUDENT LIFE. COVID has had a very significant impact on my life and would think many people would agree. It has caused me difficulties in my studies in many aspects. One is that because I lost my job (due to COVID) back in March, it meant that I had no income coming in, and because I am not eligible to student finance, I am having to pay my own fees for a degree which the education has been cut from 10 weeks down to 2 full days of teaching (irrelevant teaching to the essay required to be submitted) but that is another topic itself.
So, the financial stress, the lack of resources, the lack of teacher support and my own mental health has just all been affected by COVID. The fact that we are not able to see family and friends and socialise with others is also not helping as for me and probably for many others, seeing friends and other people is a stress relief and a motivational factor. So, not having that option either adds to the pile of stress and difficulties that COVID has caused. Luckily, I have had support from my university but not regarding my education and my grades, it has been for my well-being and being able to have that has been I would say a great help during this time.
